Influenza is quite widespread now. Please do what you can to prevent the spread of the flu.
● Get Vaccinated
The vaccine makes it harder to catch the flu. Also, if you do catch it, your symptoms will be less severe.
● Please Cough Consciously (Be careful when coughing)
When you cough it can spread and pass on viruses and other germs to those around you. Please be careful of the following ①, ② and ③.
Wear a mask when you are coughing or sneezing.
If you suddenly do cough or sneeze, cover your mouth with a tissue. If you don’t have a tissue, use the inside of your arm.
Immediately throw away any tissues with runny noses, etc. into a trash can. If you cover a cough with your hands, wash your hands quickly and thoroughly.
● Wash Your Hands Whenever You Return Home
The flu may travel on your hands and fingers. Wash your hands very well with soap.
Using alcohol spray/gel on your hands is another good way to prevent infection.
● Maintain Humidity (Percent of water in the air)
If the air is dry, you will be more likely to catch the flu. Keep room humidity at around 50-60%. Use a humidifier (machines that add moisture to the air).
● Sleep Well! Eat a Balanced Diet!
Getting plenty of rest along with eating a well-balanced diet will make your body stronger.
● Try to Avoid Crowded Places When Possible.
When you have to go out for important tasks, be sure to wear a mask.
