Commissioned Welfare Volunteers and Commissioned Child Welfare Volunteers are volunteers who listen when you are facing difficulties in life. Elderly people, those with disabilities, children, and parents raising children can consult them when they need help. Commissioned Welfare Volunteers and Commissioned Child Welfare Volunteers listen to your concerns, contact city offices or schools, and help you live with peace of mind.
For example, they visit the homes of people aged 65 or older living alone to check on their well-being. They also watch over children’s routes to and from school during commuting times to ensure their safety.
