When applying for a My Number Card, it usually takes about two months from application to receiving the card. However, for those in categories①②③, the card will arrive at your home in about one week.

② People who have moved to Japan from abroad

③ People who have lost their My Number Card

From Application to the Card Arrival

At the time of application, the applicant’s identity will be verified at the application counter.

Your card will be delivered to your home by mail.
