Get your DT Vaccine (Diphtheria and Tetanus)
Routine vaccinations are when you get a certain vaccine at a set time. There is no charge. Please don’t forget to get yours to prevent your child from becoming sick.
Children between the ages of 11 and 12 (Grade 6) will receive a single dose of DT vaccines (diphtheria and tetanus). This vaccine will be the second phase of DPT-IPV (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, and inactivated poliovirus vaccine) or DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus) vaccine. After a child turns 13 years old, the vaccine will no longer be free. Please remember to have your child vaccinated.
How to get your vaccination:
Receive the vaccination at the designated medical institution in Yao City (large hospitals and/or small privately run clinics). Reservations are required.
Please bring you Mother-and-Child Health Handbook and the health insurance card on the day of the vaccination.
